A question people ask
We need marketing. Where do we start?
Not with posts, campaigns or a hire. Start with the decision marketing is supposed to communicate.
"We need marketing" usually means "we need more of the right customers to know us". The fastest route there is not more activity.
Before hiring or buying anything, write down who you are for, what problem you solve for them, and why they should choose you. If your leadership team can't agree on that in an hour, that is where to start.
Then hire or buy against that decision. It makes every krone of marketing easier to judge.
